I bring to your attention one project, as an example of how the desire of the customer changes in the process of the work of designers!
In the initial version of the project, at the request of the customer, a simple and without unnecessary details concept project of an apartment was provided. Given its dimensions and the functionality of free space, such a task is easily realizable.
However, in the process, when David Howell's team began to work on the repair: responsible specialists in their field, the customer radically changed his preferences. From light and cosmetic repairs, loft (we have written about this trend before) turned into a calling card, both for the design bureau itself and for the future owner.
The main details, I think, should be noted are the following: magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows, the use of light colors, thanks to which the impressive dimensions of the apartment became even more obvious, the use of light beams in the ceiling decoration, the use of bricks, without decoration (remains of the renovation from the first concept).
And the main elements of the new design is a granite slab (Fig. 6), which was very competently used in the interior of the apartment with the linkage of a home fireplace.
