Fabric wall cladding options

The second option for finishing the walls with fabric is to fasten the frame, then the fabric is stretched over it. The third is gluing the material to the wall. Any fabric will shrink. Therefore, before finishing, wet the wall a little, let it dry.
The surface of the walls is leveled without fail. The fabric is glued in the same way as wallpaper, end-to-end. A reliable method is fastening textiles to the frame. Initially, wide and thin strips are prepared, outlining the perimeter of the room.
Planks are further attached to the wall. In the corners, all the gaps that form near the plinth, ceiling, sockets, should not be more than 1 mm. Install a backing that attaches to the wall and frame. Next is the finishing itself.
Textile fabrics must be cut into the required pieces. Measure the center of the wall, mark it with a pencil. Next, the canvas is folded in half, its middle is marked with scissors.
Before attaching the fabric to the wall, it is necessary to connect the marks on the canvas and the bar. To prevent the fabric from shifting, secure it with cardboard and paper clips. Unfolding and stretching the cut canvas, fasten it every half a meter to distribute all the fastening.
The fabric should be fastened inside out on the walls, only part of it should go a little so on the wall so that the canvas can be conveniently fastened. The canvas is fixed with a plank or cardboard every 6 cm. Turn the fabric over to the outside, attaching it in height, with a distance of 20 cm.
Next, the fabric is stretched. Attach the plank 10 cm above the baseboard. If there is a fabric with a pattern, it is necessary to check the verticality with a plumb line. This method of fastening the fabric is good because if the fabric gets dirty, it can be easily removed and washed.
