This year, the Russian Federation will be presenting the well-known ARCHI WOOD award for the best wood architecture for the fourth time. 
The solemn ceremony of presenting such a prestigious award will take place on May 23, 2013 as part of the ArchMoscow 2013 exhibition, the presentation process will take place at the address: Krymsky Val, 10.
The winners will be chosen by both popular vote and a professional jury, voting will take place on May 15-22 on the ARCHI WOOD award website. A shortlist was formed by the Council of ARCHIWOOD experts. 138 wooden expositions took part in the nomination, but only 38 managed to reach the final. All nominations remained the same: “Public building”, “Country house”, “Art object”, “Small object” and “Urban environment design”. Also in the applications there was a nomination and "Interior", but for the reason that there were few applications, she ultimately did not take any part.
But such a nomination as "Art Object" collected the maximum number of applications, since this trend is most typical in recent years. Eugene Ass is a master of modern architecture, his presentations will be the most powerful competition. This expert in architecture began the reconstruction of the Moscow park "Museon". The most interesting thing is that its “radicality” lies in its maximum minimality.
Along with recreational and health-improving facilities, cultural and educational facilities were provided at the exhibition. The most notable building in the city was the exhibition hall of the CSK "Garage" and the pavilion "School".
Nikolai Belousov will present his exhibit in the nomination "Vacation home", this year he openly declared his work. Nikolai is an exquisite master of chopped housing construction, three objects from him got into the short list at once.
As for the jury for the ARCHI WOOD award, its composition changes every year. One rule for the jury is the fact that it cannot be an architect whose project is shortlisted.
