Hebil 157 is a complex of five villas located near Hebil Bay in Turkey. The architecture of these five villas is reminiscent of the crystallizing lava flows of the legendary Kos volcano. The terrain on which the buildings were erected was quite rough and uneven, which, in fact, was part of the original plan. In order to create a cascading effect of lava flows, the architects had to look for suitable terrain with uneven terrain. Bodrum was ideally suited for the development of such a complex architectural structure, its relief exactly matched the plan and drawings of the documentary project.
The Hebil 157 project is realized by the architects of Aytac, Istanbul architecture studio. “Each villa is located with a precise strategic direction. All buildings equally benefit from expansive and marvelous views of the bay. They fit perfectly and interact with the surrounding landscape of the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean breeze.” The building structure perfectly complements the area, despite its geometrically modern appearance. The interior of the house is very open and light, reminiscent of liquid space. Floor-to-ceiling windows add transparency to the home, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and a stress-free life. The terrace accommodates a huge swimming pool with magnificent views of the bay. The interiors are decorated with volcanic basalt to emphasize and preserve the volcano theme that inspired this residential complex.
