An original project created by the Archi-Union studio brought to life in Shanghai. The main concept of the project is the fullest possible fusion of architecture with nature. This is emphasized by the gloomy gray color of the walls, imitating natural granite. This color looks somewhat deliberate against the smooth walls and ceilings of the dining room, and creates a stunning effect of a natural cave when designers experiment with complex shapes of walls and ceilings in the library and transitions to it.
Proximity to nature is declared by a minimal set of furniture, its dark colors and simplicity of forms. Huge glass walls, an old tree "sprouting" through the floor of the terrace, a simple bamboo fence - everything works in accordance with the main concept of the architects. On the other hand, while clearly conveying the main idea, the premises of the building do not look habitable and cozy.
