French architect Maurice Padovani created an interesting final design for the Le Prado residence in Marseille. The country house was rebuilt many times until it acquired its present appearance. In terms of color, all rooms of the house are designed in white and brown tones. Even wall paintings, which are usually done in contrasting colors, are designed in the same range.
Together with the abundance of sunlight from large windows and a glass wall overlooking a large terrace, this color combination makes the house bright and cheerful. Suspended structures with Japanese characters look somewhat alien, although their purpose is clear - to stylistically combine the premises of the first and second floors. But the combination with strict white rafters, pillars did not work out organically. But all the stairs in the house are unusually original and beautiful. A curved white staircase with asymmetrical steps leading to the second floor looks light and harmonious. The wall staircase with dark steps leading to the attic fits perfectly into the overall design style.
In the study, attention is drawn to the low fireplace of the original design. All tables and chairs are made of natural wood in warm colors, their shape is simple but elegant. Upholstered furniture is upholstered in textiles of different shades of neutral gray, which does not interfere with the overall perception. Low wooden tables and plastic rocking chairs in the hall on the first floor look very original - it is immediately clear that there are two children in a young family.
A large terrace is equipped with stationary furniture and adapted for children's outdoor games. A wonderful sunny apartment for a friendly happy family makes a very bright impression.
