Floral motifs, or a warm family nest

From the interior design studio "Cozy Apartment"

What should be the interior, where all the wishes of the customer are taken into account? Interesting, harmonious, balanced, we answer. After all, the most important and important role of a designer is to take into account everything that residents would like to see in their own home, and turn it into a cozy, beautiful and stylish interior. So in this project of a 4-room apartment with an area of 118 sq. meters, the designer managed to combine interesting contrasts, a variety of prints and the sophistication of the classics.

The center of this house is, first of all, a cozy, warm, colorful living room. The first thing that catches your eye is the abundance of floral prints used in the interior: there are four of them! With this diversity, the floral theme quite harmoniously creates a general mood and forms a pleasant contrast of a light pattern against a dark background of an oval carpet with a soft pile and, conversely, dark large flowers against a beige background of a sofa upholstery of a simple shape with large soft pillows. The colors of the sofa are echoed by light curtains, which also show a rather contrasting floral pattern. The overall floristic mood is continued by bizarre lamps on the wall above the sofa, resembling flexible stems with buds in their shape. Medium-sized accents of rich red color on the carpet are beautifully emphasized by a set of a pair of armchairs in the style of the 60s in a close rich shade.

In a compact but spacious kitchen-dining room, attention is instantly drawn to the geometric, but at the same time not burdened with superfluous lines, mahogany kitchen set, tinted with ivory countertops and matte shimmering chrome surfaces. The beautiful cherry color of the tree is also favorably emphasized by a light curtain in the shade of a tea rose and a discreet range of a dining round table. Illumination along the perimeter and local spotlights give the room a soft diffused light.

The apartment has three sleeping areas - a parents' room and two children's - for a boy and a girl. Children's rooms are comfortable for life - there are sliding comfortable sofas with spacious storage systems, bookcases, as well as areas for study and work. The parents' room is done in a warm beige and gold color scheme. Soft cozy textiles on the bed and textured curtains with small floral patterns together produce a pleasant relaxing effect. The abstract décor of the area above the bed is illuminated by two light fixtures of simple, graceful shapes, and a mirrored glossy closet panel keeps this small room from looking cramped.

The combined bathroom is made in a classic style - exquisite dark wood with chrome elements and a discreet range of coffee-and-milk tiles perfectly complement each other.

In general, the most important thing in this interior is its warmth and genuine "softness". Here you want to fall asleep and wake up comfortably, live comfortably and enjoy this warm family life - this is exactly the goal the designer pursued, and it seems that he more than succeeded!
