The idea for this living room came from designers Salvio Moraes and Moacir Schmitt from Interiores CASAdesign at the Brazilian exhibition Casa Nova 2011 dedicated to themed interiors. The living room was created as an exemplary place for listening to music. The interior, designed in the art nouveau style, is designed to evoke thoughts of beauty, while at the same time not distracting from the music. First of all, the lighting of a large room adjusts to such a perception. Asymmetric window designs scatter natural light, dimming it.
The functional use of broken shelves is doubtful, and the decorative purpose is obvious. The living room looks completely different in the evening lighting. It highlights the contrasting colors of the decor, in the evening they look much brighter. A large number of author's finds in the form of elaborate decorative ornaments is typical of the Art Nouveau style. In this case, bright vases, sculptural images, wall panels, sofa cushions are organic for the interior. They clearly have Latin American motifs and color combinations.
