For nearly fifty years this house has been abandoned. All this time no one lived here, and the building was in a dilapidated state. Until it was finally purchased by a new owner who commissioned the home's restoration to Siemasko + Verbridge of Beverly, Massachusetts, an architecture, interior design and landscaping firm.
The house was built in 1899. It took four years to restore it. Initially, its area was about 4000 square meters. feet (372 sq. meters). After the restructuring, the living area was increased to 9300 sq. feet (864 sq. meters), but with minimal changes to the original layout of the house.
