Interior of the week: House in Madrid

A large three-story mansion in Madrid (Spain) has not changed much externally (except for the attic floor). But inside the house, designer Stefan?a Carrero tried to combine several styles at once, while maintaining the charm Shabby Chic and antiquity with modern standards of comfort and convenience. The eclecticism of this combination does not confuse the designer, on the contrary - sometimes it is deliberately emphasized. In some cases it looks original (in the red color of antique chairs), in others it is deliberate when garden marble vases are used as table decorations. At least this suits the owners of the house, who managed to purchase a mansion in the historic and aristocratic quarter of Madrid "Barrio de las Letras". Here, in the Literary Quarter, Lope de Vega and Quevedo once settled.
