A small (14 beds) chalet "Petit Chateau" ("Little Castle") in Courchevel is one of the most pretentious places of a fashionable resort. The cost of its weekly rent reaches 75 thousand euros. The interiors of the hotel, which are not always distinguished by good taste, are designed to produce the greatest effect. Emphatically exaggerated Alpine style is manifested in the rough processing of finishing wood, inappropriate masonry. The disadvantages include pompous or, on the contrary, meager artificial lighting. But on the other hand, all the premises are distinguished by their huge size, monumentality, and expensive materials.
