The house, built in the mid-19th century, did not stand out among ordinary buildings, until it was purchased by designer Harriet Anstruther. It took a lot of time to reconstruct and create interiors, but now they are distinguished by beauty and grace. Many of the original elements have been preserved (stucco ceiling friezes, a fireplace, window and door openings), antique decorations and decorative elements that the family has acquired for many years have been found. Some rooms are done in a trendy black and white style, others have pronounced color contrasts. Many own design works, author's compositions of famous masters. These include elegant chairs, lighting elements, paintings - plot and abstract. A touch of eclecticism, inevitable with this approach, is compensated by the artist's good taste and sense of proportion.
