The project of the architectural studio "No. 555" in the Yokohama waterfront attracts attention with its tendentiousness. It seems that, limited by legal restrictions on architectural remodeling in Japan, the designers decided to turn the living space into a demonstration of the principles of minimalism. In fact, this was expressed in the complete absence of design, except for three flower pots, an empty frame on the wall, a wicker mat. Perhaps such principles work for Japan, but our mentality hardly perceives the aesthetics of a whitewashed barn.
