The architectural firm FARM has rebuilt a two-storey store and office building into a private apartment. Loft in Ju Chiate (Singapore) required significant refurbishment. It is not known whether this met the requirements of the customer, but the brickwork exposed during the dismantling of the walls led the architects to think about industrial design. All walls, most of the partitions have been removed from the apartment, decorative elements are stylized as brick shapes. There are a few design hits (a spiral staircase, a long wall-mounted sofa, some embellishments), but the exaggerated industrial design in living spaces looks ridiculous. Particularly depressing impressions are left by the bathroom enclosure, devoid of a ceiling and doors, the bedroom, as if placed in the corner of the workshop.
