The development of the design of a two-storey apartment in Prague was the first large-scale project of Czech architects Lenka Kremenova and David Mashtalki. They turned the whole apartment (220 square meters) into a single space, separating only three bedrooms and sanitary facilities with doors. Natural materials - wood, granite and marble, ceramics - are widely used in the reconstruction.
The authors have many original ideas - the movement of space is emphasized by the absence of right angles, they uploaded or pointed. The first and second floors are not separated by ceilings; for safety, an original mesh is stretched between them. An interesting wall along the stairs without railings, consisting of shelving. The blind adherence to the fashionable ideas of minimalism did a poor service to the designers - the apartment is devoid of decorations and household items, it looks deserted and uninhabited. Perhaps the owners, having furnished the apartment to their liking, will add the missing vital notes to the project.
