Interior of the Week: Prince's Residence

Built forty years ago, the country house of the heir to the Italian throne Emmanuel Filiberto Savoy and his wife Clotilde Kuro (French actress) for its time was a shocking event. He was way ahead of his time, so even today he looks modern and original. Facing the house with natural stone, its non-standard rounded shapes - gave a reason to conservative-minded neighbors to call the house a "bunker". Project of a house on the shores of Lake Geneva (village V?senaz) belongs to the Swiss architect Jacques Lopez, took part in the design and the customer - the Princess of Naples Marina, the mother of the current owner.

Inside the house is a real example of harmony, luxury, author's design. Revolutionary technologies for their time were used in it - automation of opening doors, raising walls, natural materials - wood, stone - are widely represented. Almost all furniture, decorations, paintings are the author's works of world celebrities of painting, sculpture and design.
