When building a house in the countryside of the Norwegian province Upland - there were no conflicts. The local administration insisted on the modern appearance of the building (so that non-tourists would not confuse it with old historical buildings), the owners of the site with the house to be demolished were fans of Norwegian classics. As a result, the classics and the right of frequent ownership won. The house is built in a classic Norwegian style, made of wood, in traditional colors. Beautifully look white spacious veranda, wooden balcony with carved railing balusters.

Interior of the week: Victory of Norwegian classics
Inside the building, the principles of Scandinavian design are not respected, there is no stylistic unity - the interior is aimed at convenience for residents, subject to their taste. The interiors coexist peacefully with new upholstered furniture and antique cabinets, in the modern kitchen there is an old cast-iron stove and modern appliances. The house has a lot of wood, antique decorations, almost every room has a source of open fire (fireplaces, stoves). Light courtyard buildings are designed in the same style. The whole building is a vivid example of the victory of common sense over far-fetched principles.
