Korean artist Cheon-ah Wang lives in Ohio but works in traditional oriental techniques. She independently mastered the intricacies of working with white, colored paper. In search of funding, the designer had to join an online project Kickstarter, which finances creative individuals. kitsch lurid paper sculptures resonated with American patrons, giving the artist the means not only to create panels based on cartoons, but also for subtle poetic works. Especially successful at Cheon-a Wang are abstract, minimalist miniatures made of white paper, in which her talent and originality are visible.
