swedish apartment

In the interiors of a two-level apartment in Gothenburg (Sweden), designers have made an attempt to combine the traditional principles of Scandinavian design with modern trends. Leaving in force the trend of maximum illumination, neutral coloring of the walls, products of the company were used for furnishing. IKEA, which did not benefit the originality of the design - the apartment became more standard, lost its Scandinavian originality. It is uncharacteristic for northern countries to use ceramic floors in living quarters, plastic chairs (albeit of an original form), furniture with a metal frame. The absence of unpainted wooden furniture in natural colors visually impoverishes the interiors, in which the “hospital” mood prevails. French methods of decorating the kitchen with wine boxes, the use of oriental carpets are not natural for Scandinavia. In the competition of styles, the traditional "Scandinavian style" definitely wins.
