Interior of the week: English farmhouse

English married couple James and Pamela Crowley (plus three adult children) independently restored a farmhouse built in 1790.James Crowley, a lover of historical architecture - became the initiator of the work. The whole family participated in the restoration, including one of the sons, an interior designer.

The result is impressive - the appearance of the house is preserved, Georgian style of most interiors. Particular attention was paid to antique furniture, which has been collected for several years. Reconstruction, preservation of ancient elements (ceiling beams, old fireplace, historical portraits) did not harm comfort. The house is inhabited and comfortable. Modern elements (new plumbing, carpeting, kitchen equipment) are not striking, in the foreground are the expressive components of the historical style.
