The ranch was built in 1965 and needed a complete renovation, but the main concept - the design in the Polynesian style, was decided to be left. The new architecture and design is dominated by straight, clean lines.
The facade of the ranch has not undergone significant changes, the main structural changes have affected the internal layout of the house and facades overlooking the courtyard. The doorways and part of the window openings were widened. Double-glazed windows and sliding doors were installed, all rooms were filled with sunlight. This technique made it possible to connect the courtyard and rooms, to let nature into the interior. The entrance facade door was finished with natural stone and glass hinged doors were installed.
Interior
The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace combined with a kitchen-dining room and a study. The floors throughout the house are tiled with 24x24 cm gray stoneware tiles, the walls and ceilings are covered with white plaster. The main decorative elements in the design are furniture, textiles, ethical style accessories and natural stone. A modern fireplace was installed almost in the center of the room, where the kitchen, living room and dining room are located. The fireplace is finished with natural stone, the firebox is closed with protective tinted glass. A fireplace separates the cooking area from the living room.
In the living room there is a soft group: a sofa and two armchairs in the style of the sixties of the 20th century, a colonial-style bench made of old wood. The bench is echoed by a dining table made of wood and a coffee table made of boards with a glass top. Zebrano wood veneer and Caesarstone® quartz countertops deserve special attention.
landscape design
Initially, the pool was restored and updated, three recreation areas were created. Relaxation area by the pool with sun loungers, outdoor dining area and socializing area by the open fire, in a stylized stove. Landscaping and landscaping works were carried out. The pool is adorned with two stylized Indonesian-style totems, which are beautifully illuminated by spotlights. According to the designers of the project, they have created a house that has everything!
