This house was built in 2007, but looking at the architecture and design of the estate, it looks like it has stood in the middle of the Mexican landscape for centuries.
First floor
The main advantages of the design are open spaces with high ceilings. Maximum air, light and freedom, combined with deliberately simple wall and ceiling decoration. The main area of the house is occupied by a living room with a fireplace and a dining room. The ceiling of the living room is two stories high, floor-to-ceiling windows and the most concise finishes - all these techniques are aimed at creating a feeling of volume and freedom. The living room has an antique-style fireplace, the furniture in the living room, as if collected from different times. It is this eclectic combination that creates the feeling that more than one generation has already lived in the house.
The dining room deserves special attention, it is decorated with elements of boho style. Dreamcatchers, strange figurines suspended from the ceiling - this is so inherent in the Mexican style - a slight veil of mystery and magic. At the same time, the table is solid from solid wood, and the chairs are a replica of the 90s, plywood and metal.
Second floor
The space of the second floor meets with a rest room, which is equipped with a home theater system. Four bedrooms face south, so that the owners always feel comfortable falling asleep and waking up.
Finishing Features
Most of the house has a concrete floor on the floor, but with the use of modern technology, it is unusual and gives the interior design a man-made warmth. Almost all the walls are plastered in white - another nod to the ethical style. The design of the terrace deserves a separate discussion. The ceiling on the terrace is divided into two parts: one is a capital structure, decorated with old logs, the second is open, where a reed roof serves as protection from direct sunlight. Glossy concrete, combined with white columns, antique furniture, original ceiling decoration - this is the dream of a real hacienda.
