For the holidays, many people decorate their house or apartment with various accessories: balloons, posters, compositions or accessories.
This master class describes how to make a garland with your own hands.
Materials and tools:
- PVA glue;
- playing cards (6 pieces);
- hole puncher;
- scissors;
- newspaper;
- cardboard base;
- art brush;
- wide satin ribbon (red);
– narrow satin ribbon (pink);
- pencil and ruler;
- thread;
- thermal gun;
- a ribbon with flowers (pink and red daisies);
Note: to determine the length of the satin ribbon, you need to decide on the place where the garland will be hung. We measure the distance with a centimeter, measure it on a satin ribbon and cut it off.
We choose playing cards in red suits: diamonds and hearts.
1. Cut out the printed text from the newspaper.
2. We take a brush, dip it into PVA glue, apply it on a cardboard base and apply printed text. Smooth by hand.
3. Take a pencil. We mark the distance on the newspaper: width 6.5 cm, and height 7.5 cm and connect. We retreat from above 2 cm and draw diagonals. Cut out and get a flag.
4. Using a hole punch, we make holes in the playing cards.
5. We do the same with newspaper flags. Only 5 pieces.
6. Take a satin ribbon. Make a loop on one side and tie in a knot. This is the beginning of our garland.
7. On the other hand, we put a playing card through the satin ribbon and move it to the beginning of the garland.
8. Then we push the newspaper flag. And so we alternate to the end of the tape.
9. We take a red wide satin ribbon. We make a bow. In the middle we tie with a thread, and then we tie it between the map and the flag. We cut off the excess threads. There are 10 satin bows in total.
10. Cut the ribbon with pink flowers into individual flowers. Using a heat gun, apply glue to the flower and glue it to the bow. And so on throughout the garland.
11. Cut the ribbon with red flowers. Glue to the flags from the newspaper.
