Futuristic glass house on a cliff near the ocean coast

One glance at this house is breathtaking, it resembles an airplane wing or an alien ship hovering over an abyss. Complex metal structures only emphasize the fragility and airiness of a glass house.

Of course, when creating the project, all landscape parameters, the load on the piles and foundation, as well as the resistance of the metal to high humidity and sea winds were taken into account. Calculations, geodetic surveys and preparation of technical documentation are one of the most complex and critical stages of construction, allowing you to create a magnificent and safe house made of glass, concrete and metal.

House of glass - open to the sun and ocean breeze

In the project, the idea of the penetration of the surrounding landscape into the interiors is implemented one hundred percent. The plot under the house is very complex in terms of its characteristics, but, precisely, it made it possible to implement such a project. Surrounded by neighbors, and not in the virgin forest, it would be difficult for the owners to feel comfortable. The glass walls of the facades leave no room for privacy.

The house is more than 85 percent glass, with the exception of a concrete roof, interfloor ceilings and metal supporting structures.

On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen and dining room. French sliding windows make it possible to blur the line between indoors and the poolside seating area in good weather, especially since you can admire the ocean coastline directly from the dining room.

A huge terrace in front of the house hangs over the abyss. On the terrace there are two pools of the same shape, a path is laid between them, and at the extreme point there is a place for contemplation. One pool is very shallow, lined with stone slabs, a recreation area rises above it, the role of a canopy is performed by the protruding ceiling of the second floor.

The second pool also has its own zest, visually it does not have a side, an additional chute, through which water flows from the pool, is located below the water level.

On the second floor there are bedrooms, from which there is access to the terraces. The furniture in the house is an ensemble of design works and objects in a modern style. Preference is given to straight lines and white color, which is diluted with bright color accents.
