Upper class denoted as "zero" or "extra". The lining of this class does not contain the core of the tree, as well as any defects in its structure.

inferior is the third class, it is also referred to as "C". Such linings contain only non-through cracks, as a maximum of two knots that do not fall out, resin bags, spots of excellent color and mechanical damage.

Plastic lining

This lining differs from wooden in its unnatural origin. However, PVC material is absolutely harmless to human health. Inside it is hollow, which makes it not so reliable, but much lighter.

The material from which the lining is made is moisture resistant, without the need for additional processing. But, it is not suitable for installation in rooms with high temperature conditions. In such rooms, over time, the plastic will begin to melt.

Aluminum lining is not considered, as it is completely unsuitable for the interior cladding of the house.

Installation

In order for the lining to become an excellent decoration for a country house, provide good sound and heat insulation, look presentable, without curvature and cracks, it must be correctly installed. For greater efficiency, installation can be combined with general repairs, in particular cabling. The lining will serve as an excellent insulation for wiring, making it completely invisible, but at the same time protected from mechanical stress.

Preparatory stage

Installation of lining begins with the moment of calculations and selection. It is necessary to find out the quantity, size, as well as the material of the boards required for cladding, and then order them.

After that, the plane on which the lining will be placed should be cleaned of dust, dirt, wallpaper residues, paint and other debris. Next, you need to assemble, install and secure the crate over the wall, floor or ceiling. It will be the link between the plane and the facing boards. The crate will consist of many fixed rails, in increments of fifty centimeters. Their position will depend on the future method of installing the lining. If it is planned to be butted vertically, then the slats should be installed parallel to the floor. If it is horizontal, then everything is exactly the opposite.

Most often, the crate is made from various lumber, a type of timber. Such slats are easily fastened to the lining, but are less reliable than the metal profile. But it differs in the difficulty of connection.

During the installation of the crate, you should also take care of additional insulation and insulation, as well as hiding the wiring.

Installation of lining

After installing the crate, it should be treated with an antiseptic substance. Next is the installation of lining. When using wooden cladding boards, allow them to dry at least one day.

The installation of the lining begins from the corner, in the case of a vertical arrangement, or from the upper or lower point of the room, in the case of a horizontal arrangement.

The first board must be attached to the laths of the crate. This can be done by simply hammering a through nail into it or screwing in a bolt. This method is simple, but it makes it impossible to subsequently dismantle the lining without violating its integrity, plus everything will spoil its appearance.

An alternative would be to use clamps. This is an element of fittings, which, due to its structure, is easily put on the lining profile, with subsequent reliable fastening. And with the possibility of removal without violating the integrity of the facing board. The kleimer is attached to the lining, and then screwed to the rail.

Thus, only the first and last board will be fixed. Intermediate ones will be connected to each other end-to-end due to the design of the profile.

If the lining is installed vertically at a distance from the floor, then it is better to use a pallet to support it. It can be made as a convex rail, which will be held on the crate.

The use of kleimers will increase the final cost of mounting the lining, but will make it "reusable". That is, during a major overhaul, it can be removed without problems, and then returned to its place, or simply transferred to another room. The integrity of the board itself will not be violated, nor will its appearance deteriorate.

Bolts and nails are suitable for a cheaper option for installing lining, but already without the possibility of complete dismantling. But, if you do everything very carefully, then the appearance of the facing board will not suffer.

Care

Finishing with MDF clapboard will be a complete pleasure. Due to the excellent external characteristics and properties of the material, it can be an excellent decoration for a country house. But the main advantage is that you don’t have to spend any significant amount of time on caring for it. It is enough to occasionally wipe the dust with a damp cloth.

Caring for a plastic or MDF lining will only consist in regularly wiping it from dust. With wood, it's more difficult.

Over time, the varnish composition will come off the board, and the color will also be lost. Accordingly, this needs to be monitored. It is best to restore the external qualities of the lining with dismantling.

The first step is to prepare the place in the room. Its temperature should be approximately equal to room temperature (20℃), and the humidity should be between 50 and 70 percent. Next, lay the floor in the room and fit the dismantled lining there. Remove a layer of varnish and paint from it, and then process it. Then it should be painted twice, both times allowing it to dry. And then apply varnish, let it dry for two days and re-mount it on the crate, after cleaning it too.
