Vintage house on the lake

Fashion for vintage and retro interiors has been finding its fans for several years, but rarely does anyone decide to completely decorate a house in these styles. For permanent residence in such interiors there are certain inconveniences, but the decision to create a house by the lake in a vintage style is an interesting and bold decision.

Creating an eclectic interior from old things is not an easy task that requires good taste and a sense of proportion. Architects and designers did an excellent job with it and took into account all the wishes of the owners - they created a unique atmosphere of relaxation with notes of nostalgia and peace.

Interior design

The house is small, but the rooms in it are spacious and surprisingly comfortable. facade wall in the living room completely consists of window blocks, which makes the room bright, and the surrounding landscape - part of the interior design. In the decoration of walls and ceilings, modern materials coexist with old boards and specially aged doors.

The furniture in the living room seemed to come from different apartments and houses, and met here by chance, but in general it is a well-thought-out harmonious ensemble of textures and colors that creates a unique mood.

Much attention was paid to lighting - modern floor lamps, swivel lamps on a wooden beam, a stylized cage chandelier and backlit retro ceiling fans. The main accent in the interior is an old stove-fireplace with a hob and an open woodshed next door.

The design of the kitchen used a large amount of wood and various accessories. A modern kitchen set is elegantly inscribed in this realm of vintage things.

In the design of the master bedroom, the designers moved away from the vintage style a bit and added an oriental flavor. The handmade carved headboard literally fascinates with its sophistication and plays in contrast with the old bedside tables - simple in form and design. On the floor there is a modern parquet board in the color of the head of the bed. Bamboo roller blinds and matting carpets are the finishing touches in the interior.

Bathroom

The only room in the house that has nothing to do with vintage style is the bathroom, which is modern, finished with luxurious ceramic tiles with a graphic pattern. The marble countertop is in harmony with the snow-white bathroom, and the two faucets on the antique sink with modern plumbing fixtures.
