From April 20, the Exhibition of Sofas in the GRAND Furniture Center starts in Moscow, within the framework of which the latest European trends in design and interior design will be presented. By tradition, within the framework of the exhibition "GRAND" organizes a rich program of events.
On April 23, the opening of the flagship furniture salon Villeroy will take place & Boch - the first cabinet furniture showroom in Russia. classical elegance, innovative design and exceptional quality are the hallmarks of features of the brand Villeroy & Boch, whose production began in 1748 year. Based on these traditions, designers and brand managers develop collections and concepts of various styles.
The highlight of the evening will be the performance of a world star architecture and design - Italian maestro Massimo Iosa Ghini.
Architect and designer Massimo Iosa Ghini is well known Russian professionals, because his portfolio includes Ferrari boutiques, Capital Group, as well as collections for famous brands. His name is firmly associated with the brand Ferrari: architect designed brand museum in Maranello, flagship store at the factory in Serravalle Scrivia and brand boutiques around the world, including Milan's flagship, which is visited daily by thousands of people.
Author of the Italian James Bond, Massimo Iosa Ghini started as a book artist. His illustrations appeared on the pages of Vanity Fair in the 90s he drew comics. Now it is a collectible rarity. In the late 80s Massimo was a member of the Memphis group, which united avant-garde designers. Then founded own movement - Bolidismo.
Massimo Iosa Ghini does not work with private clients and their interiors. The only residential building in his portfolio is his own. The architect has implemented several major projects in Moscow: Capital Group offices, public areas of the Legends of Tsvetnoy residential complex, and at the moment Massimo Iosa Ghini is working on the Cloud Nine residential complex on Bolshaya Polyanka from Vesper.
Here Massimo plays a new role for himself - he designs elite furnished apartments. Thanks to the work of the architect, this project was awarded awards in the nomination "The best architectural and urban planning solution for a residential building superior comfort."
Many of the designer's projects are presented in the collections of museums all over the world and awarded with such prestigious awards as Good Design Awards, Roscoe Award, IAI Green Design Award, iF Product Design Award and Red Dot Award. In 2015 year, his concept for the Kiko Milano chain of stores received the award for "Best international retail expansion” (Best Retail Global Expansion) at the international exhibition of commercial real estate MAPIC, and the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation presented him Marconi Award for Creativity.
