Beatrice Torma, a designer from Budapest, demonstrated an example of a successful reconstruction of an industrial building into a residential one. The two-hundred-meter two-story apartment is equipped in a factory building, from which fragments of brick walls and ceilings were left during the reconstruction. The first floor has been converted into a huge studio, the second floor has been converted into an attic bedroom and an office. All details are carefully thought out, especially in the kitchen and in the “wine corner”, which preserve the Hungarian flavor. Most of the rooms, despite their large size, are cozy and habitable.
